Who we are
Peeks is responsible for the data described here. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].
What we store
- Your username, email address and a hashed copy of your password.
- Your balance, bets, transactions and the fairness seeds behind them.
- The limits and breaks you set, and your support messages.
- If you add a passkey, its public key. If you add an authenticator app, its secret, encrypted.
- If you verify your identity, the details you give us, encrypted.
- A record of changes to your account, such as a new email or password.
Why we use it
To run your account and your bets, keep them secure, apply your limits, answer you when you contact us, and stop fraud and abuse. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
How we protect it
Passwords are never stored in plain text. Server seeds are encrypted until you reveal them. To stop repeated login attempts, we count requests from your network address using a one-way code that is deleted within an hour.
Who can see it
Other players can see your bets in the public feed and on leaderboards, under a shortened username, or as Hidden if you turn off Public profile in Settings. They never see your email address or your balance.
Peeks staff can see account and bet records when they need to, to run the service and answer support. Every sensitive change they make is logged.
Emails
We email you to confirm your address, reset your password and tell you about your account and its security.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account. Write to [email protected] or message Support.
